2015 will see the launch of a number of new routes from Newcastle Airport which already boasts an impressive destination list to p;laces across the Uk and Europe. The airport which is situated on the edge of Newcastle offers daily and weekly flights to a number of destinations and 2015 sees a number of new additions.
Newcastle NCL to New York EWR (Newark airport)
May 2015 sees the exciting launch by Unites Airlines of the Newcastle to New York route. Passengers from Newcastle will be offered a range of travel opportunities. The obvious access to New York (the Big Apple) will be popular with both shoppers and tourists. In addition to the New York options, passengers have the opportunity for onward travel across North America and beyond. Newark airport offers flights to places across the USA, Canada, the Caribbean, Central and South America. The North East of England may also see the benefit of tourists from across the Atlantic arriving to see the sights of Northumberland and beyond.
Newcastle NCL to Stansted STN
March 2015 sees the new Flybe flight to Stansted from Newcastle. This route is expected to be popular wit business travelers.
Newcastle NCL to Geneva GVA (Switzerland)
June will see the launch of the Newcastle to Geneva route which is expected to be poplar on a number of fronts. Geneva is popular with both summer and winter tourists due to its Alps location. Business travelers will also find the route appealing.
Newcastle NCL to Summer Destinations
There are a number of new summer destination planned for 2015 that will be introduced by the main travel companies Thomas Cook and Thomson. The Greek islands of Santorini, Zante, Rhodes and Corfu are all planned for summer 2015. Other holiday destinations include Varna in Bulgaria, Dubrovnik in Croatia as well as Hughada and Larnaca for winter sun.
